With a shiny chrome ring running all around, the Lemon iQ 707 is certainly a looker. It sports a QWERTY keypad, which seems sturdy and responsive. The 2.2-inch TFT display is a bit tiny, but bright. The dual-SIM feature sports slots on top of each other, making it quite inconvenient to insert a SIM card. Internal memory is a measly 20 MB, though there is support for memory cards of up to 8 GB. The audio out is through the mini-USB port, but a USBto- 3.5 mm adapter is included. The iQ 707 comes with a nice, quick interface, but it can be a bit frustrating at times.
The music and video players are basic, but we were unable to play any AVI fi les. There’s no Wi-Fi and 3G; just Bluetooth and EDGE. The device comes bundled with Opera Mini, and Nimbuzz IM, and there are shortcuts to Facebook, Twitter, etc. There's an email app that supports POP3 and IMAP4, but we couldn't get it to work with Gmail. The 3.2 megapixel camera works well only in well-lit environments. The 1100 mAh battery comes pretty close to the manufacturer's claim of 4.5 hours talk time. If you're on a tight budget and want to try a good looking QWERTY phone, then the Lemon iQ 707 may be a good starting point. At the price of 4,999 INR,It is not bad.
