Alcatel OT-880

Alcatel OT-880 sports a rather feminine look, with rounded rectangular rectangular design. It slides open to reveal a QWERTY keyboard. The keys are well placed, but may feel a little small. The phone uses a Java-based interface with widget support. The overall look and feel of the UI is nice, but browsing through menus can be sluggish.Placement of icons could have also been better;you'll frequently tend to select the wrong option.
Signal reception is good, but call voice quality is not good enough. The OT-880 features facebook and twitter apps,as well as palringo IM for chat. The Opera Mini browser is preloaded, but browsing speeds are quite slow.
The phone is equipped with Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP,and you can also use it as a webcam via a mini USB connection.
There's also a microSD card slot and a 3.55 mm audio jack. The music player is pretty loud and is easy to control, thanks to easy access from the desktop screen. The bundled earphones are suprisingly good too.FM radio works well in the open places, but not so much in enclosed areas. The 2 mp camera us just plain bad,and comes with no additional features. The battery life is pretty impressive, providing two and a half days of usage on one charge. The OT-880 looks good, but at Rs:7,550,it's performance leaves a lot to be desired and even fails at some basic functionalities; The features also lacks it behind.
