In a surprise announcement,Intel has stated that it is buying security company McAfee for a cool US$ 7.68
billion. The move is expected to completely shake up the security industry and create a new model for security
that involves software, hardware and services together. Intel also said new Internet-connected devices are important in the battle against malware. Leverage can be made in the mobile, consumer and corporate spaces.
