The dual SIM Indian bandwagon has drawn another major name – the well-respected American manufacturer, Motorola. The phones will be in the budget category, between Rs. 5,000 and Rs. 7,000. The two phones are the Motorola EX115 QWERTY phone (priced at Rs. 5,990 with a MRP of Rs. 6,990) and the Motorola EX128 touchscreen phone (priced at Rs. 4,990 with a MRP of Rs. 5,990).
Joining such major manufacturers as Nokia and Samsung, Motorola’s two dual SIM phones offer social networking widgets. Speaking about the new dual SIM (GSM+GSM) phones being launched, Motorola’s Mobility Country Head of India said: “One of our key focus segments is the dual-SIM market, a rapidly evolving market in India. We are delighted to offer our first two dual-SIM phones to the Indian consumer who has very distinct requirements of being ‘social’ while on-the-go in this extremely fast-paced Internet age. You can now have connectivity, convenience, entertainment in an elegant style and form factor with the flexibility of two numbers, which allow the user to travel with ease and most importantly, be ‘social’. Experience and enjoy the Motorola EX 128, a smarter choice that can be used with ease, and the Motorola EX115, a social messaging device to stay in touch and in control.”
